On October 3, members of our satellite club held an unusual weekend meeting — a session on financial literacy through the game «Living Capital», facilitated by Sergei Ivaglo, a well-known Rotarian and investment expert from Kharkiv.
Many people consider themselves financially literate until a structured exercise reveals how much there still is to learn. The game helps exactly with that.
Three questions stood out: Is it profitable for me? Can I afford it? What percentage of my working capital can I invest in this direction with minimal risk? Only after answering those three questions does it make sense to decide.
During the session, members also discussed club plans and upcoming service projects.
